News: Fundraiser swims the Solent
Jo raised over £700 for Buburi by Swimming the Solent. Thank you friends, family, neighbours and colleagues for your fantastic support. Your money will be used very wisely to help provide good health care for the people of Buburi.
Hurst Castle 7.30am Saturday 24th September 2011 - The start
Colwell Bay 9am - The finish!
This was an amazing day, with beautiful weather and calm seas, however there was a hidden but very strong mid channel current! Luckily the tide eventually changed and all the swimmers managed to reach Colwell Beach safely.
The swimmers were greeted to a very warm welcome from friends and families and a much needed bacon roll and coffee!
